Living and dining rooms are spacious and bright. In some apartments there are large panoramic windows, or roof terraces with a view over the rooftops of Barcelona. In other ones, stylish brickwork is integrated skillfully into the design. High-quality cooking utensils make cooking in the kitchen an enjoyable experience. Many of the spacious bathrooms are equipped with luxurious rain showers and bathtubs.

The DestinationBCN apartments, in their various sizes, are suitable for single travelers, couples, families or groups. Each of the apartments has its own individual style. Exclusive designer furniture pieces and individual antiques provide a stylish environment. The apartments each have several separate rooms, including a kitchen with extensive features, as well as at least one living room and bedroom. Most of the cooking areas are open-plan, connecting with the living room and dining area. The bathrooms are designed differently and stylishly decorated with wood, marble or ceramics. There is an entertainment set with television, audio system and DVD and video collection. Laundry, Wi-Fi and safes are also available. At the entrance, a porter ensures safety and peace. There is also a lift.
Food & drink: Many nearby restaurants, and fresh food for self-catering
There is no restaurant in the hotel. In the vicinity there are, however, in Las Ramblas or Plaza Catalunya, good opportunities to get to know Barcelona’s culinary side. These old town districts are famous for their traditional tapas bars, where you can taste Catalan classics such as tortilla and paella. The best option is to stroll through the narrow streets of the Gothic quarter and discover one of the charming little restaurants serving homemade cuisine, or go to Las Ramblas for a drink and a dance. Self-caterers can buy fresh food in the large market la Boqueria in the Las Ramblas, which is only a few minutes away from the apartments.

Most of the apartments are only 20 minutes walking distance away from the tranquil beach districts of Barcelona, where you can enjoy the fresh air and admire the old fishing village of Barceloneta, with its colourful little houses. Diving and surfing are also possible here. Just a few steps from the front door of the apartment, you can start a city tour which will take you to highlights such as Plaça Catalunya, Las Ramblas and Gaudí’s Sagrada Familia Cathedral. A hike on the mountain of Barcelona, the Tibidabo, which can be reached in 20 minutes by metro from the apartments, is also recommended. At 512m, from the peak you can enjoy a magnificent view over the city. Alternatively, a cable car takes visitors up high.

Eixample is the famous area where, in the late 19th and early 20th century, the architects of modernism, first and foremost Antonio Gaudí, created their buildings. In the Gothic quarter, there are, however, many older buildings nestling in the narrow streets. In the vicinity of the apartments, visitors will find many entertainment venues and bars in Las Ramblas or Plaza Catalunya. Passeig de Gràcia is one of the city’s most exclusive shopping streets. For a cultural experience, the Gran Teatre del Liceu -- also located in Las Ramblas - can be reached from the apartment quickly on foot.
