For me, one of the most unusual hotels in Palma. The mix of monastic purism and modern design is extremely successful - those who are receptive to it might even find this stylish hotel with its view over the rooftops of Palma decidedly romantic. By the way, Marc Fosh's new restaurant is the city's hotspot and a meal here is an absolute must.

Even just arriving at the Convent de la Missió is an exciting experience. You’ll be more than a little bit surprised when you step inside the monastic hallways of this 4 star hotel in a quiet little side street near the cathedral. Contemporary artwork, trendy furniture and a minimalist design form a fabulous combination under medieval vaulted ceilings. The 14 double rooms and suites boast a summery white, light and airy design combined with modern amenities. The unique hotel concept offered here is rounded off by an intimate vaulted bar and a small spa area.
City hotel: Past & present in a central location
Despite its fashionable design concept, this hotel has been at the heart of the town of Palma for centuries. The former 17th-century convent is situated in the old town next to a church with the same name. Surrounded by narrow streets and leafy courtyards, it was once dedicated to the education of missionaries and is now, after an extensive, three-year renovation project, a fantastic summertime retreat away from the tourist hordes. Highlights include the large rooms and exceptionally friendly staff.
