The Hotel Sa Bassa Rotja is built within a historic stone building which dates back to the 13th century. The old farmhouse was rebuilt, preserving the typical character and original structures; such as the bright stone walls that give the building its rustic charm. It is situated in a quiet and secluded location inland on Mallorca surrounded by fields, vineyards and orange groves. Also the many horses, sheep, chickens and cats which live on the 100-acre property contribute to the idyllic landscape. There is also also a winery, as well as magnificent views of the mountains and the nature which greets guests from the hotel.
