The small boutique hotel was opened in 2006 and offers a family atmosphere just outside the region of Llucmajor, just a few minutes away from the island’s capital, Palma, and 20 minutes from the famous Es Trenc beach. The 32 spacious rooms and suites combine beautifully historic details with modern comforts and elegant marble bathrooms. Wellness and sports facilities complete the picture.

Country hotel: Lovingly restored farmhouse with a 300-year-old garden

Where once a Mallorcan aristocratic family lived, guests can now enjoy elegant accommodation. Today the property sits in the middle of a 300-year-old garden with majestic trees and bubbling fountains. The manor house itself dates from the 15th century and combines elegance and romanticism. Modern furniture, such as comfortable sofas and large beds, combine with classical elements such as dark antique furniture, Arabian-inspired tiles and sparkling chandeliers. From a balcony or terrace, some rooms offer views of the garden, some of the rural landscape.

Honeymoon: Wellness and romantic retreat

The 300-year-old garden is perfect for romantic walks, not only when you’re on your honeymoon. You can also explore the landscape of the region on foot. Green hills and sandy beaches characterize the southeast of Mallorca. In the spa area of the hotel you can relax. If you like, you can enjoy also breakfast in your room.

The Son Julia Country House Hotel is a small family-run hotel, combining tradition and luxury. All 32 rooms and suites are individually decorated. Color-washed walls in warm colors also contribute to the feel-good atmosphere, as does bright furniture. Traditional items like colorful tiles, crystal chandeliers and rustic arches on the one hand, and contemporary furniture on the other hand, creates atmospheric ambience. The country house, with its blend of comfortable upholstery and tasteful antiques, is easy on the eye, providing a comfortable oasis of tranquility with traditional Mallorcan charm at the same time.

Food & drink: Mediterranean cuisine in an exclusive atmosphere

The Son Julia Country House Hotel offers two different restaurants – the Las Bóvedas Restaurant which serves a buffet breakfast and dinner, and the Mandarina Bistro (open from June to September) serving healthy lunches and snacks with views over the small pool. The hotel team attaches great importance to the high quality of the food. Especially fresh ingredients are used to create Mediterranean dishes. In the Las Bóvedas Restaurant, guests enjoy regional dishes which include fruit, vegetables and herbs from the local markets. A barbecue area is available for events or groups at the small pool and must be booked in advance. The Agapanto Pool Bar at the big pool is open from June to September and serves refreshing drinks and cocktails.
