The Ristorante Mistral has long been the main attraction at this grand lakeside hotel. It is run by Ettore Bochia, who is known for his traditional Italian and strictly seasonal molecular gastronomy. The head chef makes traditional Italian dishes but introduces a scientific approach which he has developed together with the Institute of Physics at the University of Parma. Some of his most surprising creations include ice cream that’s made using liquid nitrogen, sugar-free meringue and turbot cooked in melted sugar.

Breakfast at the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni is taken in an enchanting ballroom where the tables are set out with crisp white tablecloths. For the other meals, the hotel has two restaurants, both of which are also run by head chef Ettore Bochia. The gourmet restaurant Mistral offers daily (in summer evenings only) fine molecular gastronomy. Evening dress is required here. At the La Goletta you can enjoy traditional cuisine from the Bellagio region in a more relaxed atmosphere. In summer you can sit outside to eat on the terrace or by the pool.

The leisure facilities include two tennis courts, a squash court, three pools and a spa (sauna, steam bath, massage) with adjoining gym. The lake is ideal for walks along the shore and boat trips. In the hotel you can also rent mountain bikes to explore the surrounding area.
