The former hunting lodge and summer residence of the noble family Feltrinelli offers an elegant and historical atmosphere. The main building and adjoining annexe house 19 rooms, a Turkish bath as well as a restaurant and tavern. The building is located right next to the villa, about 20 meters away. A spacious park landscape, including a swimming pool overlooking the lake, surrounds the hotel. The 4-star property is located approximately 8 km from Navazzo, not far from the western shores of Lake Garda.
Boutique: Private luxury, uniquely decorated suites
The 19 rooms and suites of the boutique hotel Villa Sostaga offer views of the Lake from some balconies or terraces. The fittings and furnishings have individual colour schemes and a personal style. Each room has its own charm: some beds have fabric canopies or an antique wooden frame. A noteworthy room service completes the personal ambience. The Seresina family’s concept, to add a private touch to the hotel, encompasses everything. Antique wood furnishings, upholstered sofas and candles make the hotel’s spaces look elegant and cozy. The stucco work, ceiling beams and antiques tell of the long history of the noble house. The view of the Lake is extraordinary.
Romance: Intimate atmosphere and lake idyll
The quiet of the hills, the breathtaking view and the intimate atmosphere offer couples the perfect setting for romantic hours together. Whether at the fireplace in the Tavern, having a candle-lit dinner in the restaurant or tea in your suite, romance is assured. A visit to the small but attractive wellness area with Turkish bath cleanses body and soul. Just a few steps away from the main house lies the pool area, for sunbathing and relaxing. From here you can admire the sea of lights on the lake shore in the evening, while sipping a glass of wine. Concerts are offered free of charge on selected days.
5 Stars: A lot of space, comfort and perfect service
The resort more than meets its 5 stars: in addition to a spacious interior (21-40 square metre) rooms offer spacious bathrooms and a comfort with air conditioning/heating, telephone, flat-screen TV, free W-LAN, safe and minibar. The amenities are in excellent condition, the health and Spa areas are top-quality, and the walls and floor coverings are made of high-quality materials. The outdoor areas and night-illuminated swimming pool also offer plenty of space. An area of 40 hectares of forest surrounds the land and is good for long walks. The service is also outstanding: the rooms are tidied several times a day.
Food & drink: Breakfast in the gazebo, gourmet cuisine at the terrace restaurant
Be it the meals in the elegant "Liberty" hall, or the view of the Lake on the Panoramic Veranda: the highest quality is on offer in the hotel’s own restaurant. The extensive breakfast buffet offers lush fruit, crispy croissants, healthy cereals, pastries, sausage and cheese. For lunch and dinner, the chef prepares around 40 local and international specialities, made with local ingredients. From April to October, six daily specials complement the menu. The tavern offers a selection of around 200 wines, including top offerings from of the vineyards around Lake Garda. In winter, the fireplace in the Salon "Clarabella" ensures warmth and coziness. During the summer months, the garden terrace and pavilion are inviting - and drinks are served at the pool on request. In addition, a porch with large windows overlooking the lake offers plenty of light the year round. Alternative dining options are located in nearby Navazzo, Gargnano, Limone sul Garda and Salò.
Sport & leisure: Spa, watersports, and mountain tours
The hotel has a Turkish bath and a solarium. The use of these is included in the room rate, and various treatments can be booked. Spa-lovers can also enjoy the Day Spa "Residenza dei Limoni" (15 km from the Villa), where a sauna, jacuzzi, experience-shower and relaxation area are on offer. Access to the Centre is free of charge for hotel guests. The nearest access to the lake is located in Gargnano (approx. 7 km, taxi service is available). There, various water sports clubs offer courses. The surrounding mountains invite holidaymakers to take extended treks, and at local golf clubs there are discounts for hotel guests. The nearby thermal baths (e.g. Sirmione, approx. 60 km) are a popular port of call in the winter. In the summer, especially for families, the various amusement and water parks offer the ultimate thrill (Gardaland about 62 km, Canevaworld 65 km).
Location: Beautiful lake view in an idyllic hillside location
The hotel is located in a quiet location in the midst of a 40-acre park below the small road between Gargnano and Navazzo. The place is an oasis in the midst of busy lake hotspots, the elevated location provides plenty of rest, and the view of the lake and the surrounding mountains is breathtaking. The highway (main connection Navazzo-Gargnano) is 8 km away, to the south is Lido Gargnano, approx. 12 minutes drive. The nearest railway station (Desenzano) is around 40 km away (paid pick-up service on request). The nearest airports are Verona (76 km), Bergamo (100 km) and Milano (186 km). The location is easy to reach by car, motorbike and bicycle.
