Hotel description
The La Corte di Giulietta Exclusive Suites is a small historic guesthouse with just three luxury suites, two of which in the courtyard in sight of the famous balcony and statue of Juliet. All three suites are decorated in a romantic antique style, in keeping with its setting, but at the same time offer all the modern amenities and contemporary technology you’d expect. The different sized suites each have a living area, a coffee corner and a stylish and comfortable bathroom. The room sizes are 45sqm (Suite Ginevra), 55sqm (Suite Elvira) and 85sqm (Suite Lavinia). The Lavinia and Ginevra suites have a connecting door which means they can be booked together and made into a large family suite for up to six guests. You’ll love the feeling of staying in a private luxury apartment whilst still having a range of included and individually bookable guest services available to you.
Historic hotel: Verona’s history up close
The La Corte di Giulietta is situated in the heart of the oldest part of Verona, surrounded by impressive historic buildings and sights. At the front of this grand house runs the Via Capello with its colorful old building facades. At the back of the guesthouse you’ll find the picturesque courtyard with Juliet’s balcony. In keeping with the architecture, the rooms have been furnished in an exclusive antique style. Heavy velvet curtains, elaborately embroidered upholstery, antique dressers, genuine Murano glass lamps and valuable paintings transport guests back to a grand bygone age. Each suite also has a few individual features, like a baroque king-size bed or an elaborately painted wooden ceiling.
Honeymoon hotel: Exclusivity & individual service
The feeling of exclusivity makes the La Corte di Giulietta an exceptional place for a very special occasion. Each of the three suites would be the ideal love nest for a honeymoon. What’s especially nice is that during the day the romantic courtyard is a busy tourist sight, but at night it’s only open to the guests staying in the suites. The romantic ambiance is rounded off by the really friendly hostess Michela, who is more than happy to help out all her guests with any questions or requests they might have.
Food & drink: Bed & breakfast with coffee corner
The La Corte di Giulietta is a classic Bed & Breakfast. Special requests for breakfast can be made when you book or when you arrive. For lunch and dinner, you’ll find plenty of restaurants of different kinds and price range nearby. Around Piazza delle Erbe there are lots of street-side cafes and restaurants. In the suites you’ll also find a small coffee corner with Nespresso machine, kettle and fridge, so that you can make yourself a little snack whenever you like.
Location: Italian Old Town flair 50m from the Piazza
For romantics and anyone interested in history, the location of this small boutique hotel is absolutely ideal. Just a few steps away (about 50 meters) is one of the most beautiful squares in Verona: the Piazza delle Erbe. Even in Roman times it was the central square (Forum Romanum) and is surrounded by attractive buildings and monuments. In the middle there is a permanent weekly market.
