Our story
The story of escapio begins – like many unforgettable journeys – with a deeply personal experience: founder Uwe Frers’ honeymoon in Tuscany. In search of a hotel that wasn’t just beautiful, but truly special, he realized how difficult it was to uncover real hidden gems. From that search came an idea. And from the idea, a platform: escapio.
For more than 20 years, we’ve been helping travelers find exactly that: the right hotel for their getaway; far from the ordinary, close to the extraordinary.
