Historic Hotel: Old Mallorcan city house with a soul
The surrounding neighborhood, as well as the hotel itself, exude lots of charm. Pollenca is well-known for its historic center, with old streets and houses typical to the island. One of those old buildings is the Hotel Desbrull itself: Juan, the owner, lovingly restored this old three-story building and transformed it into a cozy hotel. Outer surfaces, particularly the stone façade with its green window frames, show evidence of the past, but interior spaces with exposed ceiling beams, wood doors and windows lend the hotel a rustic atmosphere. Furnishings are a clever mix of old and new.

Hotel Desbrull is a classic bed and breakfast hotel: a beautiful presented buffet breakfast is served each morning. Breakfast is prepared fresh, offering a solid selection and fantastic coffee. Finding a suitable restaurant for a light lunch or romantic dinner is no problem. Just around the corner, only 50 yards away, the Plaza Mayor offers several restaurants and tapas bars with tables right on the picturesque square.

Athletics & Leisure: Strolling the alleyways and hiking in the mountains
Pollenca is one of the typical towns of northern Mallorca which have structurally withstood the island hype without changing. Today, this original charm makes the village a delightful place to visit. Simply walking down the plaster alleyways and soaking up the atmosphere of Pollenca is a joy. Same goes for the terrace cafes on the Placa Mayor, just around the corner from Hotel Desbrull. In the town and nearby area there are countless historical sights to visit, including the astonishingly well-maintained stone bridge Pont Romà (Roman Bridge), the Ermita de Nostra Senyora del Puig monastery and the Castell del Rei. Beach lovers will find beautiful beaches nearby, for example at Port de Pollenca or Cala San Vincente, which are very quiet compared to those on the southern part of the island. The town is perhaps best suited for hikers, however. A broad network of mountain trails through the Tramuntana mountains offer unforgettable hiking and nature experiences. The hotel team is well-informed and eager to give friendly assistance with planning tours.
