Sophistication and comfort await guests who stay the at Cap Rocat in the midst of the historic walls of a former fortress and surrounded by picturesque nature. Each of the 24 spacious and air conditioned rooms, including the El Cabo Suite and the Del Mar Suite with private swimming pool and terrace, feature unique furnishings and objets d’art in the noble rustic style, and are furnished with natural materials. On the sandy private beach, guests may try various water sports or enjoy brunch or dinner overlooking the sea out on the terrace with pavilions. The bali beds placed sporadically on the rocks allow guests to savour the peace and quiet undisturbed, as well as the fresh sea breeze and impressive views.
City Hotel: Gorgeous views over the Bay of Palma
Even though the Cap Rocat is located only around 25 km from Mallorca’s capital of Palma, it is well connected to the city and offers stunning panoramic views across the Bay of Palma. It is particularly nice to enjoy an aperitif on the terrace at sunset and watch as the sun seemingly sinks into the sea. Historic Hotel: Charming ambiance in a restored military fortress
The former Arabic military fortress, which constitutes the unique historical atmosphere of the hotel, was originally built in 1904. Today, the ensemble is one of cultural heritage and was elaborately and tastefully renovated for its conversion into a luxury hotel whilst preserving the unique architecture. The hotel also owes its special structure to the fortress with charming inner courtyards, which were transformed into relaxation zones and private lounges. Up to 250 guests can be accommodated in each of the multiple banquet halls, including large rooms for private celebrations and events. The rooms are housed within the chambers of the historic case mates.
Food & Drink: Breakfast à la carte, gourmet restaurant and fine Mediterranean cuisine
The Cap Rocat pursues the motto that "good food is part of simple luxury". La Fortaleza restaurant, headed by chef Victor Garcia, was awarded "Best Hotel Kitchen of the Year" by Balearic gastro critics. Guests can enjoy the à la-carte breakfast or dinner either in the private courtyards of the hotel, in their suites or other charming places around the fortress, for example on the beach or in the pavilion. The highlights of Mediterranean cuisine are served in the courtyard next to the fountain in the summer. Directly on the sea in the spectacular Bay of Cala de la Reina, the Sea Club Open-Air restaurant serves Mallorcan fish and meat dishes from the wood-fired oven and barbecue. The former typical Majorcan kitchen is preserved today as a private dining room and wine storage. Wine tastings in small groups, as well as cooking classes are held here.
Sports & Leisure: An idyllic private beach, varied sports facilities and spectacular infinity pool
Lined with rocks, the 2 km long private beach of the hotel invites guests to relax under thatched umbrellas, swim or enjoy the turquoise blue sea with a diving, boating or sailing trip. With architectural sophistication the luxurious outdoor saltwater infinity pool was integrated into one of the walls of the fortress, which is positioned on the wall that offers swimmers a magnificent view over the Mediterranean sea whilst bathing. Within the area or in the immediate vicinity you can ride bikes, play tennis, or go horse riding. The hotel has its own fitness room with opportunities for personal training, yoga or pilates. Massages are available on request also privately in the suites. Besides the private beach, there are two more beaches in the immediate vicinity—Cala Blava and Bella Vista. A golf course is just 5 km away. On request, the hotel can organise sports in small groups.

The facility is tucked away on the coast on a ledge above a tranquil private bay. Around the old jetty you can use different bathing areas in the sea or borrow a boat and explore the Majorcan coast from the water.
