Hotel description
The Villa Station by Cassai is perfect for anyone that likes old buildings full of character. This small bed and breakfast hotel is housed in a former train station at the edge of Ses Salines. It has a total of five attractive guest rooms of various sizes. Both inside and out, the historic building radiates a completely idyllic feel. The bright sandstone facades with their mullioned windows are covered in flowering climbing plants. In the completely enclosed inner courtyard you’ll find a stylish pool surrounded by palm trees and Mediterranean plants. The interior spaces have been decorated with the utmost attention to detail in a style that is somewhere between colonial and shabby chic.
Small hotel: Five rooms with individual character
The Villa Station by Cassai is an owner-run branch of the Es Turó hotel which is 2km away. This means that it’s ideal for anyone who likes to feel completely independent when they’re on holiday. The five guest rooms provide all options, from a small double room for a short break for 2 people to the romantic Junior Suite to the loft apartment with separate living room and a private kitchen. Guests get their own front door key which makes you feel like you’re staying in a private house with garden and pool. At the same time you can also use the facilities and services of the main hotel, including the restaurant and a café, where breakfast is served in the morning.
Country hotel: Majorcan landscape & protected national parkland
From its location at the edge of Ses Salines you’ll enjoy beautiful views over the Majorcan landscape. Nature lovers have plenty of excursion options to keep them busy. At the main hotel hikers and climbers can make use of the friendly advice or book guided tours for all experience levels. Don’t leave without visiting the Cabrera national park on the uninhabited island of the same name.
Food & drink: Traditional island cuisine in the main hotel
The hotel restaurant is at the main hotel Es Turó. Guests staying at the Villa Station by Cassai can also tuck into the excellent breakfast that’s served here. When the weather is nice you can even enjoy it outside on the idyllic garden terrace. The restaurant is also open for lunch and dinner. Alternatively, there is a small bakery and lots of really nice restaurants in the area close to the Villa Station.
Leisure & sport: Pool & beach
You’ll find the idyllic courtyard garden with pool completely relaxing. But there are also several great beaches very close by, including Es Trenc, one of the most beautiful and popular beaches along the south coast. It has long been a protected area and is completely undeveloped.
Location: At the edge of Ses Salines
The Villa Station by Cassai is housed in the old train station of Ses Salines, which shut down in 1967. It is situated at the edge of the town and is operated as a guest house of the main hotel Es Turó, which has a rural setting about 2km outside Ses Salines.
