The best thing about this unusual 4 star hotel is its lively mix of art and design: Gio Pozzi has transformed these historic buildings in a beautifully clean and uncluttered way, whilst maintaining the character of the old building, which he honors with his use of slate, terracotta, wood and limestone colors. This means that instead of a sterile gallery atmosphere, guests enjoy a warm and friendly atmosphere in which the contemporary art is allowed to flourish.
