Spa Hotel: Massages and restorative therapies
The Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu’s 345 square-metre spa is an oasis of calm on the idyllic island. The varied range of treatments on offer includes professional full-body, Asian and relaxation massages, as well as facial and body treatments. The emphasis is on traditional Indian, Indonesian and Thai treatments using high quality Ayurvedic products. Beauty treatments such as manicures and pedicures are also available. Treatments can take place in the privacy of your own villa on request. Yoga classes are available to help relax the mind.
Eating & Drinking: Rich buffets and Asian cuisine
Buffet meals are offered three times daily in the main restaurant, Cowrie. Breakfast is mainly Continental and English, though regional specialities are also served. At lunchtime, Indian-Thai-inspired dishes with an international twist lure guests to the table. The Cornus Grill offers live cooking, while the Cornus Restaurant serves Thai-Maldivian cuisine à la carte. On request, meals can be taken in the villas and special dietary requirements catered for. The Conch Bar serves up small snacks, delicious drinks and entertainment on the beach, while the Beach Bar, built on stilts over the water, offers refreshing cocktails overlooking the sea in the evenings.

The Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu Resort is located on the private island of Dhuni Kolhu in Baa Atoll. The island is 660m long and 290m wide. The beach and lagoon are shallow. The international airport in Malé is about 124km away - a 40 minute seaplane flight.
Beach Hotel: Relax between the sea and palm trees
84 beach villas, in 2 categories, are situated right on the beach under swaying palm trees. They all have an open-air bath, air conditioning, fan, safe and minibar. The traditional, thatched villas are furnished with plenty of wood and quality natural materials, and designed elegantly in warm colours. The quiet and secluded beach villas, which look out onto lush greenery and the sea, offer an intimate atmosphere and unique ambience. On the beach, guests can make use of sun loungers, parasols, a restaurant and beach bar. The resort’s dive centre provides water sports equipment, including for diving and snoring. The house reef - only 20-30m from the beach - is the best and easiest way to explore the lagoon’s underwater world. There is also a beach volleyball court on the sand.
5 Star Hotel: Luxury water villas and culinary diversity
The island’s real highlights are the 14 spectacular water villas, constructed in traditional style with luxurious furnishings. The two 154 square-metre Sunset Lagoon villas offer one bedroom with king-size canopy bed, living area with designer furniture, a jacuzzi in the bathroom and indoor and outdoor showers. The private terraces feature a sunken pool and cosy seating area, from which guests can view the gorgeous sunsets over the sea. The Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu also offers, in addition to its main restaurant, 2 à la carte restaurants, 2 bars, free nightly entertainment and organised trips, including diving and dolphin watching. The hotel can also organise weddings on the romantic atoll, and offers a business centre with a room for meetings and events. The resort received a TripAdvisor Excellence Award in 2014, a Maldives Leading Hotel award in 2006 and the EarthCheck Silver Certified award - for sustainability and resource conservation - in 2012.
Sport & Leisure: Spa, tennis, water sports and boat trips
For a fee, guests can enjoy massages and various Far Eastern therapies in the spa, or in their own villa on request. A well-equipped gym is located next to the spa. Yoga classes are also available. There are tennis and badminton courts, table tennis and pool tables that guests can use for free. The interior of this relatively large island can be explored via winding paths, and at low tide you can walk a full circle of the coastline. Spectacular trips to impressive dive sites, manta and dolphin watching, fishing trips and sunset cruises can be organised by the hotel. Trips in traditional dhoni boats to nearby islands are also arranged, and water sports such as windsurfing, sailing and water skiing are all possible on the beach. The lagoon is also a sanctuary for turtles.
