The Beachfront Villas are located in the middle of the Velavaru lagoon, while the InOcean Villas, built on stilts, boast direct access to the crystal clear sea, as well as their own infinity pool and sun terrace. Narrow sandy tracks and high palm trees border the villas. A marine laboratory station was established on the island to monitor and recultivate the coral reef. The restaurant "Azzurro" with its bar of the same name serves a rich buffet in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings. The Maldives are known above all for being a paradise for snorkelers and lovers of diving sports. In the substantially intact house reef of the resort is a dazzling underwater world with rays, sharks, trunkfish, parrotfish and trigger fish. From the Maldivian capital Malé, it is roughly 142 km to the resort on the Southern Nilandhe Atoll.
