Boutique hotel: individuality and love down to the very last detail
Everything at the Praia Art Resort has been designed by hand and with the greatest care. This is noticeable as soon as you enter the hotel. Upon entering the rooms, however, this becomes even more obvious: every room has its own colour and entirely individual furniture. All rooms come with hand crafted wooden beds, which truly are a work of art. The walls have also been lavishly painted using various techniques. The theme continues in the bathrooms. Each bathroom offers guests modern facilities with custom-made mirrors and the most modern of walk-in-showers. The public areas are equally as impressive, for instance the pool and the particularly elegantly styled dining room. The service, in keeping with the design of the hotel, is individual, friendly and flexible.
Beach hotel: a stone’s throw away from the beach
The Praia Art Resort is a perfect beach hotel. A short walk through the garden and guests will find themselves on a 1km long paradise beach, with beautiful golden sand and clear water. After swimming and sunbathing, the beach bar becomes the perfect place to watch the sunset and enjoy an aperitif in the early evening.
Food and drink: Authentic Mediterranean cuisine
The gastronomy on offer at the Praia Art Resort is based on simple, traditional cuisine, using fresh ingredients in all dishes. The day begins with a delicious breakfast, that is available according to the desired times of guests. Gourmet highlight is the restaurant Pietramare Natural Food. Awarded with a star in the Guide Michelin, guests can expect imaginative interpretations of traditional Calabrian recipes.
Free time and sport: Beach, pool and untouched nature
Those who appreciate nature and are interested in sea life will be highly intrigues by the marine-sanctuary Capo Rizzuto, which lies on the outskirts of the hotel. Some zones of the protected area are entirely blocked off to visitors, whilst others can be accessed. Guests must enquire as to the rules and regulations. On the grounds of the hotel itself, guests will find a lovely pool. Here, guests can relax on sunbeds, enjoying the views of the pine trees and blue sea. Upon request, massages can also be booked, as well as a wide range of activities outside of the hotel, for example sailing trips on a skipper, fishing and diving tripe, and canoe tours. Particularly recommended is taking a tour in a glass-bottomed boat.

The Praia Art Resort lies on the South coust of Italy, approximately 10km west of the Isola Di Capo Rizzuto, directly on the outskirts of the nature and marine sanctuary of the same name. The beach is located directly next to the hotel. The nearest big town is Le Castella, which offers guests shopping facilities, numerous restaurants and bars, as well we a Aragonese fort from the 13th century, which truly is worth seeing.
