Hotel description

An Arabian fortress from the 14th century houses the Parador de Carmona. Like a palace out of a Thousand and One Nights, the 4 star hotel sits high up above the breathtaking landscape of Andalusia in Spain. Come and enjoy the romantic and historic atmosphere with excellent service and fantastic decor.
Parador de Carmona in Andalusia
Carmona is one of the oldest cities in Andalusia. Because of the strategically important location and the fertile soil, this area was settled many centuries ago. The region has been important through all periods of history, for example as an independent trading post in antiquity, a Carthegian colony, the Roman city of Carmo and a Moorish fort. The fortress of Carmona was built during this time, and now houses the 4 star Parador. The castle hotel is almost like a majestic throne up above the city with its thick, yet elegant facade. The Parador de Carmona also provides a large estate with a large swimming pool, which stretches out below the romantic hotel.
Rich Historic Atmosphere
The interior of the Arabian fortress from the 14th century creates a historic and romantic ambience. The large, open rooms enchant you with their authentic decor. Antique furnishings deck the halls and the beautiful courtyard with its artful columns and arches builds the center of the castle hotel in Spain, not to mention the refectory. The refectory is now used as the dining hall, and is among the most beautiful dining halls of all the Paradores.
Living at the Parador de Carmona
The rooms of the 4 star castle hotel are all spacious and charmingly decorated. Depending on where in the fortress they are, they offer a view of the swimming pool, the rolling fields of Andalusia or the old town of Carmona. The decor of the rooms harmonizes excellently with the character of the 4 star hotel. Antiques, classical carpets, canopy beds and stylish linens radiate a luxurious and historic ambience.
Conferences in Andalusia
The Parador de Carmona is also perfect for conferences. Two large conference rooms are available. The room “Torreón“ has 171 sqm, room for up to 200 people, depending on the conference format. The room “Arcos“ is 135 sqm and provides room for up to 135 people. The blend of the fortress‘ ambience and the professional conference service makes the Parador de Carmona ideal for every type of conference in Andalusia.
