Are you one of those travelers that prefers to look behind the scenes of their travel destination and, if possible, right into its history? Then you will love this privately owned country house hotel. It is situated in a 1,000-year-old hamlet called Chiesanuova, at the end of a street, the last bit of which is more of a dirt track, and too narrow for traffic to reach. You can’t get much more idyllic than this. Set in a listed stone house, this small hotel offers just six spacious, beautifully decorated guest rooms. Guest facilities include a rustic cellar restaurant and a terrace with picturesque views of Levanto and the nearby sea.
