The San Roque Hotel
This little gem of a hotel is located at the edge of the old town near the harbor of Garachico on the northern coast of Tenerife. What looks like a traditional stately home from the outside, hides lovingly decorated rooms packed full of art and design treasures on the inside. Twenty guest rooms are situated around a secluded courtyard with pool, and each one has been individually decorated in an exciting design. The mix of lacquered walnut wood, bright colors and design classics creates an irresistible charm. In and around the hotel you’ll also find a whole collection of artworks by contemporary local and international artists.
Rooms at the Hotel San Roque
Hydromassage tubs, flat-screen TVs and DVD players all come as standard in all of the rooms, whose interior design is just as inspiring as it is comfortable and totally practical. It blends seemlessly with the architectural features of the old building, like the tape windows overlooking the courtyard or the impressive wooden beams. In some of the rooms the bedroom is on a mezzanine level, reached via a spiral staircase. One of the junior suites even offers a wood-paneled, circular whirlpool.
