The Royal Garden Villas & Spa in the southern part of the island of Tenerife consists of 28 luxury villas, each of which has a generous size and upscale fittings including a private pool and a fully equipped kitchen. Its private atmosphere is as pleasant as the discreet and committed service. To round off the package the 5 star resort runs a small but fine spa and the exquisite “Jardin” restaurant.
Architecture and fittings
The 28 villas of the Royal Garden Villas & Spa leave nothing to desire in terms of fittings and equipments. A beautiful design with an Asian twist, top-shelf fittings, spacious rooms, a fountain in the reception area, up to three bedrooms, luxurious bathrooms, some with open-air shower, a covered terrace, a heated private pool as well as the latest entertainment technology systems (flatscreens, DVD player, Wifi free of charge) make for a convincing experience. Each of the romantic boutique hotel’s villas features its own individual world of interior design including mosaic walls, beautiful vases, top quality natural materials combined with contemporary designer furniture and antiques. The construction is split up into three levels having the reception, main pool and 14 villas on the top floor. On the second level you will find another 14 villas and the spa and sports area, while the ground floor houses the "Jardin" restaurant. All this is interspersed with small lawn areas, palm trees, flower arrangements, statues, wooden benches and fountains.
Restaurant and catering
A good day’s start needs a good breakfast. At the Royal Garden Villas & Spa you can order a delicious breakfast to your room or have it in the dining hall. The quality and variety of items to choose from corresponds to the high standard of the hotel. Between 1.00PM and 4.00PM as well as between 8.00PM and 10.00PM cheese, salads, pasta, pizza and desserts can be ordered from the room service. Alternatively, you can use the fully equipped kitchen to prepare yourself a snack or small meal. By the way, you will find the fridge filled with sweets and drinks on your arrival. In addition, the hotel offers a shopping service. The “Jardin” restaurant opens at 7.00PM offering international gourmet classics prepared by chef de cuisine Victor Rocha. A purely white interior design, light curtains and charming lanterns add an original romantic note to the ambiance.
Spa and sports
The spa of the Royal Garden Villas treats its guests to a variety of facilities including a thermal bath with a waterfall, Jacuzzi area, fun showers, Turkish bath and ice fountain as well as a separate Beauty & Body Treatments lounge, all in an exotic Asian atmosphere. For the sports enthusiasts the 5 star spa hotel has even a modern squash and small fitness center.
Location and views
The Royal Garden Villas is located in a slightly elevated position halfway between the Atlantic coast near Caleta and the village of Adeje (distance to each of them is 1 km). All the villas are south-facing featuring splendid mountain views to the left, while overlooking the golf court’s lush green driving range as well as the Playa del Fañabe und Playa de las Americás straight ahead. To the right you see nothing but the deep blue of the Atlantic sea.

Costa Adeje golf court
Right across the entrance of the Royal Garden Villas there is the Costa Adeje golf center club house. From the villas’ own terraces guests enjoy full views of the driving range. The 18-hole golf court consists of six par 6 holes, six par 5 holes and six par 4 holes. In addition there is a smaller court with 9 holes and par 33. Come prepared for a game with stunning views of La Gomera and the Atlantic Sea. In case you would like to play golf, Escapio will be happy to make the necessary arrangements for you.
Beaches and daytrips
About two km from the resort you will find one of the finest southern beaches of Tenerife called Playa del Duque. It is a 5 minutes journey by car or taxi. Sun shades and loungers can be rented on the spot and there is a lovely beach restaurant serving salads and light meals. Don’t forget to try one of the local gourmet restaurants, such as the „La Torre del Mirador“ for example. Also consider the daytrip to the Teide mountain (about 1 hour transfer) as well as to the picturesque village of Masca. In each case you should kick off early in the morning or arrive after 3.00PM in order to stay out of the way of the all-inclusive tourist buses.
