Everything from the two in-house restaurants, to the large pool and spa, to the multiple sporting facilities and the private beach is maintained to the same excellent standard, to ensure the hotel fully earns its 4-star rating. The clean, comfortable guestrooms are located in the main hotel building and in five further villas, all of which have two floors. Each room features all-modern furnishings and a turndown service, with daily cleaning and linen change. A room with a sea view is definitely recommended, but should be requested beforehand, as it is not guaranteed with every room.
A Beach hotel: round-the-clock-service by a private beach
The Hotel del Golf is located right on the edge of the soft white sands in the Bay of Procchio. The stretch of beach directly by the hotel is for guest use only, allowing private access to sunbeds, parasols, and toilets and changing rooms for a stress-free beach visit. There is also a good-sized jetty for small boats. The hotel restaurants face directly out onto the beach, offering a beachside bar and a gorgeous terrace with stunning views of the sea.
A Family Hotel: sport, fun in the water and pure relaxation
The Hotel del Golfo is also perfectly suited to families with children. Above all, the short way to the beach is a great excuse to get outdoors, but the hotel also offers a range of services especially for families. Older children can choose to take part in the regularly led scouting expeditions, exploring the nature of the nearby surroundings while Mum and Dad relax on the beach, by the pool or on one of the spa’s massage beds. Swimming courses are also available for younger children, and sailing lessons are available for older children too.
Food & Drink: haute cuisine and beachside restaurants
A delicious breakfast buffet offers the perfect start to the day, served in the refreshing sunshine on the outdoor terrace. During the day and in the evenings guests also have a choice of two restaurants. La Capaninna serves typical Italian cuisine accompanied by a selection of Tuscan wines, and guests can choose to dine in the open air or under the roof of the terrace. The Fontana restaurant serves fine Mediterranean dishes with a stunning view of the bay from a panoramic glass window.
Sport & Leisure: activities for all the family
For those needing a little more exercise than the short walk to the beach, the Hotel del Golfo offers a wealth of sports facilities to choose from. Two tennis courts and a fully equipped fitness centre are open to guests, plus the chance to get active in aqua gymnastic courses, or have a go at sailing or diving. There is even a 9-hole golf course for keen golfers. Guests can also book a range of activities with partner companies through the hotel, such as kayaking, mountain biking and sailing tours.
