Hotel Hamilton Lodge Belalp is located at 2100m in the Aletsch glacier area which is part of the UNESCO world heritage. Splendid views, no cars around… In summer and winter the Lodge is the ideal starting point for mountain walks and adventurous sports like skiing, hiking, biking and paragliding.
The hotel is also known as ’hip Heidi-hotel’: a cosy mountain hotel breathing the atmosphere of the Alps. Antlers on the wall, a relaxing lounge with fireplace, chandeleers, candles and warming red accents to create a welcoming feel.
Hamilton Lodge Belalp offers 19 rooms, every one of them is decorated with love for detail. From snug 2- to 4-person bedrooms to cozy family rooms with connecting door. The apartments enjoy full hotel service. Every room is unique.

Belalp restaurant
Our cozy restaurant has been fitted out in Log Cabin Style, in the atmosphere of the Alps, featuring natural stone, sturdy wooden accents, chushions, warm colours and comfortable furniture. Our breakfast features cheese, butter and yoghurt straight from the farmer’s cooperation on the Belalp. Lunch and dinner include some regional as well as international dishes, all prepared with the greatest care. We like to keep it healthy and also make use of biological products.
Belalp glacier spa
Our Spa is equipped with Finnish sauna and bio sauna, using herbs from the alpine meadow. After your sauna visit cool off under the shower or along the ’water wall’ with pure glacier water. A plunge bath, hot tub and whirlpool are situated outdoors - in winter in snow, in summer amidst the alpine flowers.
Enjoy the peace and quiet in the relax room with spectacular view in the Alps, or combine your spa visit with a restful massage.
