The rooms are modern and straightforward, the colour scheme is very harmonious, the design plays with the contrast between modern and alpine influences, the spa area is designed in the style of a Valais chalet, the Sky Room offers a spectacular view of the Matterhorn thanks to a two-storey glass front and a designer bathtub, there are many design eye-catchers with alpine references throughout the hotel, such as sledge-look benches, retro prints on the walls and smart wardrobes made from discarded snow shovels
Ski Hotel
The hotel is located close to the legendary Matterhorn, the town of Zermatt itself is surrounded by numerous ski lifts and the Gornergrat, Glacier Paradise and Sunnegga Express cable cars are within walking distance of the hotel, special ski packages are offered via the website, these include the Zermatt or Zermatt & Cervinia ski pass, otherwise ski passes can be purchased at reception and the ski room with boot dryer can be used, sledges are hired free of charge on a first come first served basis
