Hotel description
Guests searching for a rejuvenating, relaxing experience will not be disappointed at the The LIFESTYLE Resort Zum Kurfürsten. The health and general well-being of guests is the hotel’s main concern, reflected in the fireside restaurant, the delicious cuisine and the stylish décor of the hotel’s 71 comfortable rooms and suites. Families as well as couples are welcome to enjoy the facilities, which include two separate spa areas with generous outdoor spaces and a wide variety of spa, beauty and health treatments.
Wellness: panoramic pool & chinese medicine
The LIFESTYLE Resort Zum Kurfürsten has a 3,500-square-meter, light-flooded wellness area, which is oriented towards the teachings of traditional Chinese medicine. The spa features a panoramic pool at 32 degrees Celsius and an attraction pool. In the manifold saunas, there are classic saunas and steam baths as well as exotics like in-ground sauna, Chinese herbal sauna, Himalayan salt sauna, energy-natural sauna and a Chinese hell with almost 95 degrees Celsius. You can relax in various relaxation rooms, or on the roof terrace. The treatments, massages and therapies offered combine wellness concepts from all over the world and connect it to the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).
Romantic: snuggling by the fireside and couples massages
The LIFESTYLE Resort Zum Kurfürsten is the perfect setting for a romantic holiday for two. The hotel team is attentive but discreet, ensuring comfort but also privacy. Perfect also is the Spa area, where Chinese medicinal treatments as well as massages are available to enjoy as a couple. Guests who choose the Spa Suite have their own private Whirlpool, and for those in the romantic Lifestyle Suite, a stunning designer bed awaits in the centre of the room.
Your stay: choose your own package
During the week, it is possible to choose between a Standard Overnight Stay, which includes a generous breakfast buffet, and the Beauty & Wellness Package. As well as the basic service, this includes a three-course evening meal, an individual pampering face treatment and partial body massage, specially designed to target problem areas in the upper back, shoulder and neck muscles. The same service is offered on the weekends, but with a welcoming glass of wine instead of a facial.
Food and Drink: healthy cuisine for fine food lovers
Healthy cuisine for food lovers. Breakfast is served as a buffet with an extensive selection — late risers can enjoy it until 11:30 am. Everything is freshly prepared and the kitchen places great emphasis on regional and sustainable produce. The afternoon offers two reasons to indulge: a snack buffet from 1:30 to 3:00 pm, enjoyed bathrobe and all, followed by a cake buffet from 2:00 to 4:15 pm. For dinner, guests can choose between "B fine" and "WANT TO B" — the former with a changing 6-course menu, the latter with a 4-course dinner menu. The "GLOW Bar" is the perfect place to round off the evening with cocktails and music.
Location: peaceful and easily accessible
LIFESTYLE Resort Zum Kurfürsten is roughly 10 minutes from the town of Bernkastel-Kues, in the Moselle Valley approximately 50km from Trier.
