Stemming from the year 1922, this small villa is a real gem of the Belle Epoque, with its privileged location directly above the boardwalk of Alghero. Behind its sandy gold façade, nine elegantly furnished rooms await in four categories. Some enjoy a fantastic view of the sea, but all of them are ultra-chic. A terra cotta tiled terrace invites guests to enjoy the view of the ocean on lounge chairs and comfortable furniture. The way down to the sea or into the old city center is just a few minutes on foot.

Historic Hotel: Sardinian villa, elegantly designed

Today’s boutique hotel is housed in an old Sardinian villa, almost 100 years old, which has been attentively restored and lovingly outfitted. Besides its fantastic location, the Villa Mosca excites with its stylish design of historically inspired furniture and elegant marble baths.

Romantic Hotel: Chic salon ambience & magical sunsets

A mix of historic villa ambience and highly personal service makes the Villa Mosca Charming House a beautiful place for a few romantic days by the sea. From some rooms you can watch the sunset through the window or from the balcony. Guests who aren’t staying on the ocean side can sit on the terrace with a glass of wine to enjoy the spectacle. Romance is also apparent in the elegant yet cozy salon atmosphere of the rooms.

Apartment Hotel: Mini bungalow with kitchenette

Besides the guest rooms in the villa itself, the hotel contains three bungalows—so-called ‘villini’—which are located about 20 meters from the main building. Each of them houses a studio apartment with bedroom, living area and kitchenette, over a 33 m² living surface. The sofa in the living room can be converted into a comfortable bed, which means that up to three people can stay in the studios.

Food & Drink: Breakfast with an ocean view & light Sardinian cuisine

In the morning, a beautifully presented, varied breakfast buffet is served at the hotel restaurant, Sala delle Leccornie, with the option of sitting outside on the terrace with a view of the ocean if the weather is nice. For lunch and dinner, the restaurant serves light, traditional island cuisine made from regional ingredients and freshly caught fish. Vegetarian options are always available.

The Villa Mosca Charming House is particularly well-suited for a romantic, relaxing couples vacation, with hours spent reading on lounge chairs, enjoying sunsets on the panorama terrace, taking walks through the old city and going on excursions to the beaches around Alghero.
