Hotel description
Feel like enjoying historical Roman ambience extraordinaire? Not only is the Residenza Napoleone III unbeatable in this facet, but absolutely one of a kind. This small hotel contains two wonderful historically furnished suites in the middle of the old city center of Rome. Right in the midst of its thoroughly historical design you will find the most modern living and entertainment technology including plasma TV, video projector, DVD player, air conditioning, iPod dock and free wireless.
Historic Hotel: Modern technology in a historical environment
The Residenza Napoleone III does not wear its name in vain. The French leader and later emperor actually lived here for a while in the year 1830. Heavy brocade curtains, imperial canopy beds, historical accessories, paintings and antiques lead guests back into the past. At the same time, carefully integrated hotel amenities transform baroque opulence into all-around comfortable accommodations. Authentic antique beds are outfitted with quality modern mattresses. Large flatscreens are hidden behind a painting that swings open. Opulent marble or ceramic baths with elegant copper fittings round out the atmosphere.
Boutique Hotel: Only 2 exclusive suites and one room
What truly sets the Residenza Napoleone III apart is its intimate and exclusive character. It consists of only two luxury suites: The Napoleone Suite includes two living rooms, a bedroom, a kitchen unit, bath and ladies’ restroom. It can also be extended by a further room, the Blue Room. This room can be reached by wood stairs leading from one of the suite’s living rooms; it is only available to book in conjunction with the suite. The second suite is a rooftop garden suite, radiating a nostalgic aura from history with stylish Italian furniture, cherrywood drawers and a romantic bed niche. The suite offers a living room, bedroom and bath. Its highlight is a spacious rooftop terrace with two levels.
5-star hotel: professional service & top quality
In all its elegance and historical detail, the Residenza Napoleone III still remains focused on quality. Perfect cleanliness, professional service and brand-name technology and care products by Bulgari all contribute to an exclusive living experience.
Food & Drink: Gourmet breakfast & variety of restaurants in the neighborhood
Special mention should be given to the hotel’s excellent breakfast with a good selection of foods not necessarily typical to Italy: this includes fresh baked goods, granola, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, Italian sausage and cheese specialties, sweets, cakes and exquisite coffee. For other meals, there’s a large culinary offering within walking distance. In the Napoleone Suite, you can cook small dishes and snacks at the kitchen unit.
Location: Central & historical
The Residenza Napoleone III is situated in a very central location directly on the Via dei Condotti, one of Rome’s shopping streets. Equally nearby is the chic Via Veneto with its cafés and restaurants. The Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps are a relaxed 10 minute walk away.
