The Parador de Malaga Golf
This Parador was built in the 1960s and its architecture is contemporary, but it still manages to maintain traditional Andalusian elements throughout. The rooms tucked inside the white buildings are spacious and airy, and the decor blends tradition with modern styles, too. The large grounds with golf course, pool and sea views provide a wonderful feeling of space in this otherwise fairly densely built-up area. Its spacious rooms with functional design also make the Parador an ideal family hotel for a break with the kids.
The golf course
The biggest appeal of the hotel is of course its golf course, which was originally built in 1925 as a 9-hole course. It was later extended to 18 holes by the renowned architect Tom Simpson. Surrounded by sand dunes, palm trees, mimosa, eucalyptus and pine trees, it has a beautiful Mediterranean feel with two of the holes right by the sea.
