In service since the 1970s, the building is beautifully harmonised with the natural surroundings and the culture of its native island. One sees this in the colourful decoration of the hotel rooms, a mix of Ibiza handwork with artwork from the Far East. Each room is fitted with only the best quality materials to compliment the hotel’s luxurious setting, as well as a private balcony, or a terrace with private (indoor or outdoor) whirlpool.
Wellness: classic spa treatments and massage pools
In the hotel spa guests are offered professional massages and beauty treatments. The absolute highlights however are ‘The Suspended Cascades’. In these massaging Jacuzzis and waterfalls, guests are invited to move through a ‘thalassotherapy’ course of different water temperatures and massage intensities, which takes around 45 minutes to complete. Nestling into the side of a rocky slope, much like the hotel building itself, the pools allow guests to relax in unrivalled luxury with an uninterrupted view of the sea below.

The Hacienda Na Xamena’s varied menu is also a big attraction for the hotel’s guests. The day of indulgence begins with an extensive breakfast buffet by the pool, with a selection of local and international specialities. During the day the Eden Restaurant’s relaxed atmosphere provides the perfect setting for a laid back lunch on the outdoor terrace. A visit to the gourmet Sueño de Estrellas Restaurant is also highly recommended in the evening.
Sport and Leisure: boat tours and cooking courses
The Hacienda Na Xamena organises a variety of individually tailored activities on request for guests. These include, among other things, chartering one of the hotel’s speedboats with a driver. Guests can also arrange to take part in cooking courses, held in a specially equipped, semi-professional cooking station with its own terrace and beautiful view.
Location: on a rocky slope overlooking a cliff-lined bay
The location of the Hacienda Na Xamena is difficult to top. The hotel building is spread over several floors, directly built into the rocky cliffs of Ibiza’s Northern coast and just 20 minutes drive from Ibiza Town. At its highest point, the hotel is 180m above sea level, and a charming cliff-lined bay opens out to the sea below. This therefore means that every room of the hotel, including the restaurant, wellness area and main terrace, has a perfect view of the Mediterranean.
