The small size of the hotel with just 26 individually furnished rooms promises an intimate and private feel. Each room enjoys panoramic sea views, and most have a balcony or terrace. When it comes to room amenities, you’ll find everything you could possibly need. With a 36-inch LED TV, iPod dock, Nespresso coffee machine, free internet and wireless internet in the lounge, you will quickly feel like you’re so settled that you never want to leave. But it’s the suites that steal the show: they are situated on the top floor and offer stunning sea views plus luxury fixtures and fittings including a private sauna, stylish living room area with fireplace, plus a roof terrace or hot tub.
Beach: Golden sand and crystal-clear water
The Miramar Corsica is conveniently located right next to the beach. The public, but really quiet Sampiero is on the opposite side of the road, so can be reached in just a few minutes. But if you like you can take the golf cart down to the beach and be picked up again after. The 5km-long sandy Portigliolo beach is just a ten-minute walk away.
Eating & drinking: Mediterranean cuisine and lavish breakfast
Food is served on the sundeck. For breakfast there are fresh juices, yogurt, cheese, jam, bread rolls, bread, salmon, Corsican honey, low-fat cereals, fresh fruit, eggs, Segafredo coffee and Mariage Frères tea. At lunch you can tuck into traditional Corsican dishes like salad, fruits, sandwiches and grilled specialties. Dinner offers Mediterranean cuisine and specialties from the grill. The restaurant is closed on Monday evenings. At the pool bar guests can enjoy cocktails, cognac and champagne in the evening sun.
Sports & leisure: Water sports and excursions
The most beautiful spot in the whole hotel is the terrace with heated swimming pool. A gym, sauna and a small beauty and massage center offer other ways to relax. The large, romantic garden is ideal for enjoying the peace and quiet. There is also plenty to discover in the surrounding area – guided tours on both land and sea take in Roccapina, Bavella, Bonifacio, Porto Vecchio and Campomoro. The Valinco Golf Club is also not far. Try out sailing, jet skiing and water skiing at the beach, or go diving in the clear water. Your little-ones will love the water park nearby.
