Historic: 4 Star hotel within the castle of the Marquis de Sade
25 rooms of the hotel are located in the former castle of the Marquis de Sade, who directed the first Theatre Festival in France here in 1772. A further 5 rooms are located in a building from the 18th century, directly opposite. Some furniture in the hotel also dates back to this time. The gourmet restaurant serves the guests in a classy establishment, just as the Marquis de Sade would have enjoyed.
Boutique: 30 individually furnished rooms, friendly personal service
The hotel is managed by Frédéric Lhermie and his mother, who graciously and carefully look after their guests. With infinite passion, the pair have designed the interior of the castle hotel, combining the colourful flower decors, furniture from the 18th century, statues from the 1920s, as well as African art. All 30 rooms are differently furnished and have their own individual charm.
