Location: from the old town to the sea
The location is one of the main draws at this hotel. The old town of Sant?Agata di Militello surrounds the palazzo and from the hotel terrace you can enjoy uninterrupted views over the pinky tiled rooftops as far as the sea, 200m away.
If you prefer staying in a smaller, more special hotel, then choose between four room categories at this palazzo. A stylish on-trend design with clean lines and tasteful colors dominates all four. But they differ in the amount of space and amenities they offer, for example many of the deluxe rooms even have a balcony. In the prestige rooms guests can expect significantly more space, beautiful beamed ceilings and (from some of the rooms) a fantastic view over the rooftops. The most exciting room is the spacious Junior Suite with an original frescoed ceiling. All this is rounded off with a communal lounge and and bar/cafe.

This typical old Italian palazzo with a masterfully restored facade dates back to 1860. After a complete restoration in 2007 and refurbishment of the interior in 2012, it was finally opened as a hotel. But the biggest surprise is the stylish contemporary design in muted colors that blends perfectly with the historic Sicilian architecture.

At basement level there is the beautiful restaurant room. With its 12 tables (commissioned ad hoc for the hotel) and ample windows facing the internal street, the restaurant is inspired to water and deep see. Bronze-coloured sound absorbent panels and lively tones perfectly blend urban style elements with the best location for business meetings and events.

The Palazzo Fortunato is an ideal base for discovering the natural landscape of Sicily. Founded in 1993, the Nebrodi National Park is only 5km away and is the largest forested area on the island. If you do not have a car then you can still get there by bus or train (bus stop/train station 1km away). The beach at Sant?Agata di Militello is just 500m away.
