There is a romantic story to this hotel: for three generations, the inn belonged to the family of today’s landlady Verena Amann. After selling it, the hotel was owned by the family of the current owner, Karl, for another three generations. And this is how it all comes together: today, sons Sebastian and Martin are the seventh generation of the newly-reconstructed hotel with a magnificent view of Lake Constance.

    Romantic Hotel
    The hotel rooms and suites are spread between 4 adjoining buildings directly on Lake Constance; all are stylish and elegant, furnished with a unique touch, and often come with a view of the lake. Especially romantic is the cosy suite with a large bathtub and balcony. In the restaurant, treat yourself to a 4-course menu for 2 or enjoy traditional cuisine in the historic tavern.

    Directly on the protected shore of Lake Constance on the Höri peninsula, the hotel offers spectacular views over Untersee, the Reichenau peninsula, and even up to the Swiss Alps. On Lake Constance itself, there are an abundance of swimming areas, as well as opportunity for water sports from canoe rentals to sailing lessons to boat trips.

    Spread out over 300 qm, the InselSpa may be small, but it is of the finest quality, boasting a Finnish sauna and bio-sauna, a relaxation area, and cosmetic treatments from Maria Galland Paris, in addition to massages and treatments with the in-house cosmetics line. In the garden, swim in the 29-degree outdoor pool with stunning views of the lake, or take some time to relax in the sun.
