One of the things about old buildings is that many small, almost inconspicuous elements can hide big stories - and this former school building from the Wilhelminian era has plenty to tell. You can see it in the hotel's logo - the bird's eye view of the hotel and surrounding trees was inspired by a child's drawing by the hotel owners' then three-year-old daughter.
