The hotel has a really quiet location, surrounded by its own park at the edge of Guebwiller in Alsace.
This small castle hotel dating back to the 19th century is situated in the south of Alsace. It is personally managed by its owners Dominique and William. Aside from their passion for the romantic old country house itself with its creaky wooden floors and stucco on the walls, the two also share a love of art. In each of the rooms you will find quaint, sometimes antique country house furniture combined with contemporary art. The concerts and exhibitions that are regularly held in the house are well known throughout the whole region. Last but by no means least, a beautiful veranda is the perfect place to enjoy the delicious breakfast and traditional regional cuisine.
Historic: Country castle from the 19th century
Both inside and out, the Domaine de Beaupré wows guests with the charm of a stately home that has stood the test of time. The surrounding park still dates back to when the house was first built. The interior complements the architecture of the chateau perfectly with both restored and newly acquired period furniture, including a few special items like antique chests of drawers and four-poster beds.
Small hotel: Individual, exclusive and personal
This mansion house has just under 20 rooms, all different in their own special way and all comfortably spacious. The public areas too, such as the conservatory veranda, tea room and reception lend the hotel the exclusive feel of a private residence.
Food & drink: Delicious breakfast and gourmet platters
The day starts with a breakfast menu featuring a good selection of typically French specialties. Guests can enjoy their breakfast in the really peaceful setting of the beautiful conservatory. Dinner must be booked in advance and consists of a delicious cheese and ham platter accompanied by excellent wines.
Sport & leisure: Art & garden idyll
If you’re looking for peace and quiet in the countryside and are also interested in art, the Domaine de Beaupré ticks both of these boxes. There are plenty of contemporary paintings and sculptures to admire – both at the special exhibitions that are held here, but also just part of the hotel design. In front of the house there is a stone terrace where you can sit and enjoy the views over the woodland and lawns of the chateau grounds.
