Adjoining the Neuschwanstein Castle the architect Emil Vogt created the Château Gütsch in 1888 - a real fairy tale castle in the style of the Belle Époque. Historic Hotel: Over 120 years of history in the elegant rooms
The Château Gütsch is not only a historic hotel, but also part of the history of Lucerne. Built in 1888 as a private dwelling with adjacent hotel and restaurant, the guests can still sense the glorious past in the premises even now. Traditional colours and patterns, sleigh beds such as those used in the time of Louis XVI., paintings from the 17th, 18th and 19th century as well as ceiling stucco, wood carving and hand-painted wood panelling give the Château Gütsch a special historic charm despite its many modern amenities.

The hotel can be reached by public transport, a bus stop is about 15-minute walk from the hotel and a shuttle can be arranged on request.
