The Bajaloglia Resort is situated on a picturesque hill overlooking the village of Castelsardo on the northern coast of Sardinia. From here there are tremendous views over the medieval fortress town and the sea beyond. Set against this magical backdrop, this 4 star hotel with just 19 guest rooms is the perfect choice for a wonderfully peaceful holiday. There is an especially private and individual atmosphere thanks to the fact that the rooms are split across several houses, which are scattered throughout the grounds and connected by narrow paths. From the outside, this hotel, which opened in 2010, is in keeping with the traditional architecture of the island with its low-rise buildings, stone walls and shingle roofs. Inside, each building has a modern, Mediterranean interior design with creative furniture and well-lit rooms. In the main house, the hotel has an excellent restaurant that is also open to the public. In the garden you’ll find a delightful pool with unforgettable panoramic views.
Beach hotel: Swimming and snorkeling in the crystal clear Mediterranean Sea
Just a few hundred meters from the Bajaloglia Resort is the beach of Lu Bagnu. This short stretch of fine white sand along its namesake village of Castelsardo is edged by crystal clear water, a great snorkeling area. The beach is nestled against the cliffs and is therefore really quiet and sheltered from the wind. Perfect for families with children! There is also a small cafe right on the beach.
