    History
    The oldest part of the historic Hotel Villa Campestri near Florence dates back to the 13th century. Important restoration works were undertaken in the 15th and 17th centuries, giving this romantic hotel in Tuscany its Renaissance ambience. Original wooden-ceilings, terracotta floors and stone door frames complete the Renaissance spirit of the house. At the beginning of the 20th century Galileo Chini decorated the interior parts of the romantic Hotel Villa Campestri with magnificent windows and wall-decorations in the "Liberty style", which can be still admired. Most recently restored between 1989 and 1991, this historic hotel near Florence still today preserves the charm of the old Villa.
