Hotel description

Design Hotel
The decadent design is inspired by 19th century French influences. The interior is opulent, exclusive and colourful, with individually patterned wallpaper in the 128 rooms and suites, designed by the DeSimoneWayland studio; all rooms and suites have extra-long box spring beds (210 cm), the historic façade architecture was restored by David Chipperfield and Stephen Williams, who also designed the interior with Kate Hume and Joyce Wang
City Hotel
Located on the canals of Hamburg's city centre, only a few steps away from the shopping area of Jungfernstieg, the Inner Alster is a 5 minute walk away, the famous City Hall in Hamburg's Old Town is a 9 minute walk away and the new landmark, the Elbphilharmonie Concert Hall, is an 18 minute walk away. The hotel is also very well connected to public transport, the S-Bahn Stadthausbrücke is only 200 metres away and the U-Bahn station Jungfernstieg is 500 metres away
