The Grand Tarabya is in every respect a perfect example of how contemporary luxury hotels should be. Alongside ultra-modern furnishings, the rooms are remarkable for their spaciousness and for the large panoramic windows. The designer furniture mixes a contemporary Asian lounge style with classic Bauhaus elements. There is a window between the bedroom and the ensuite bathroom, which can be covered to create privacy. The modern, innovative lighting system can be used to create an atmosphere, the curtains can be drawn or opened at the press of a button and there are tea and coffee making facilities in every room. Even the marble ensuite bathrooms have been designed with comfort in mind, complete with a rain shower, a bath, toiletries from Molton Brown and even fluffy dressing gowns. The picture is completed by the seamless concept of service present throughout the hotel: room service, the concierge and even the laundry service are available around the clock. All of the hotel staff are well educated and engaging.

The hotel has its own spa, which covers over 4500m2, and has every imaginable feature to help you relax. This includes a seawater swimming pool, a hammam, a sauna and a steam room, as well as numerous treatment rooms, where different treatments designed to pamper the body and mind are on offer. Couples can book their own private spa suite with its own sauna and Jacuzzi as well as couples treatments. For those who like to be a little more active, there is a modern gym, as well as yoga, taichi and pilates classes on a regular basis. To round it all off, you can lie back on ergonomically shaped loungers and watch the ships go past through a panoramic window looking out onto the Istanbul Strait.
Food and Drink: generous breakfasts and delicious seafood
The first class gastronomy in the Grand Tarabya includes a brasserie, a fish and seafood restaurant, a cafe with a bakery and patisserie, a bar and a pool bar. The breakfast buffet is generous and offers a variety of delicious foods. On Sundays, brunch is served, an occasion not to be missed. The same goes for a night cap in the Diba Bar with the best view over the Bosphorus of all the hotels.
