The Sa Torre de Santa Eugenia is situated in the small town of the same name in the middle of the island. In the early 1990s, its current owners converted the old farmhouse into a country hotel. As soon as you arrive you should take a tour or this delightful property so you can take in all of its highlights. The large garden has lots of little corners and hideaways where you can read a book or just sit and daydream, a stylish swimming pool with parasols and sunbeds and an idyllic duck pond. Inside is no less impressive and boasts a rustic restaurant set in the old wine cellar. The accommodation consists of 5 independent apartments, each with a fully equipped kitchen.
Historic hotel: Medieval architecture & history of wine
The former Mallorcan manor house originally dates back to the early 16th century. The history of this old farmhouse greets guests of the Sa Torre de Santa Eugenia in a variety of different shapes and facets. The picturesque view of the old sandstone walls from the outside is just the beginning. An absolutely magical atmosphere dominates in the restaurant, which is set in the old wine cellar with its barriques - huge wooden barrels used in traditional wine storage.
Apartment hotel: Spa areas with secluded terrace
In addition to the spacious Junior Suites, guests can also opt for an apartment in the hotel, each with a bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, living and dining area. In the warmer months you can enjoy the sheltered private terrace with natural stone floor, loungers and parasol that each apartment has. In the colder months the apartments are really cozy with a fireplace (not available in all). The apartments are all equipped with modern facilities, including a flat-screen TV and a stylish bathroom with tub. They are cleaned every three days.
Country hotel: Wine production & a garden idyll
The Sa Torre de Santa Eugenia is set in the typical Mallorcan countryside, surrounded by vineyards, which directly border the garden of the house. Here you can take beautiful walks along the rows of vines. The property itself oozes rural charm with its multicolored flowering trees and Mediterranean plants. The apartments offer wonderful views of the Sierra Tramuntana.
Eating & drinking: Magical restaurant & traditional cuisine
Every meal at the Sa Torre de Santa Eugenia is a real experience in both the food and the atmosphere. Breakfast can be enjoyed either in your apartment, in the dining room or outside on the terrace. If you want to make your own breakfast you can have fresh bread and pastries delivered. In the evening guests dine at elegantly set tables in the fabulous wine cellar restaurant. On the menu you’ll find creatively interpreted traditional dishes of the island. Professional guidance is provided on the range of wines which you can also buy to take home as a souvenir.
