      Hotel description

      In the heart of Maremma, around 20km from Grosseto, this country house hotel wows guests with its own individual charm. It is housed in an old extended farmhouse dating back to the 18h century. Its 13 stylish but lovingly decorated rooms are also spacious enough for families. There is also a fashionably furnished fireplace lounge, a small bar and a cozy sitting area with television on a mezzanine level. Highlights include a dream pool in the garden and a panoramic terrace with stunning views over the valley below.
      Historic hotel: Converted old farmhouse
      The present-day La Cianella hotel was originally built in the late 19th century as a typical Tuscan farmhouse. In the 1960s some extensions were added so that even from the outside you can already see the mix of old and new that dominates the interiors too. Framed by the recent additions, the old stone house remains at the center. The garden and pool, an equally historic water fountain and a large tiled terrace creates a picturesque patchwork-like property. In keeping with the style of the rest of the hotel, all of the rooms have handmade wooden furniture, earthenware floors and rural patterned fabrics.
