Imposing castle built in the mid-16th century, classical façade with large windows, small bay windows and wooden shutters, the castle has 27 restored rooms and suites with modern and historic elements, in the garden pavilion there are also 22 rooms with either balcony or direct access to the park, the castle was built by Niklaus von Scharnachtal and belonged to the Bernese patrician family von May for several centuries from 1588
