Hotel description
The southernmost area in Italy, Apulia, is a fertile coastal area known for its vineyards and its Mediterranean cuisine. Not far from the capital Bari is the gourmet and spa hotel Masseria Torre Coccaro located. This romantic country estate originally was a defensive structure from the 16th century. Today, the tower houses extravagant suites with a view of the Mediterranean and the surrounding plantation with olive groves and almond and carob trees. Discover Apulia’s culinary delights during a cooking class in the Hotel Masseria Torre Coccaro and let yourself be carried away by the rural, exclusive charm of this unique luxury hotel!
The 5 star hotel Masseria Torre Coccaro
The luxury hotel Masseria Torre Coccaro in Italy allows you to live exclusively on a historic country estate. The 24 rooms and suites of this 5 star hotel are housed in old tuff stone walls, under truly impressive groined vault or round arched ceilings. Everything about this country house style is decorated elegantly and comfortably. Fine furnishings create an extravagant contrast against the background of the simple, white stone walls.
The rooms and suites
All the rooms in the romantic hotel Masseria Torre Coccaro feature a bathtub, elegant beds and sofas, traditionally painted country house furniture and some even a balcony with a sea view. For those long breakfasts in your room, even the standard rooms have a table and two armchairs. The exclusive suites of the luxury hotel are prize worthy: Housed in the antique tower of this historic building or in one of the grottos on the property, these luxury accommodations guarantee an unsurpassed, romantic living experience. Apart from a fireplace, a private whirlpool and a private lounge can be counted on. A tip for those incurable romantics: The orange garden suite in the hotel Masseria Torre Coccaro. It sits far from everything else in a small orange grove and offers an idyllic garden with private pool.
Turning off in the Masseria Torre Coccaro
The guests of this 5 star hotel can swim in the indoor and outdoor pools of the hotel-own swimming pool, relax under the shade of the olive trees, or use the hotel-own fitness room. So that your spa holiday is perfect, there is a whirlpool, a solarium, and even a hotel-own hair dresser. If you prefer diving in the ocean, the hotel-own beach salon offers another possibility at pure relaxation!
Gourmet holiday in Apulia
In the restaurant Egnathia of this 5 star hotel in Italy, there are traditional and refined dishes from the Mediterranean cuisine of Apulia. The proximity to the ocean makes the organically grown food especially tasty. You’ll dine under an antique pergola on a terrace with panorama view. Hotel guests have the choice between half and full board. To add, there is a gourmet seafood restaurant waiting on the beach. You prefer to hit the pots and pans yourself? Then you can learn how to prepare Apulia’s classic dishes in a cooking class in the Masseria Torre Coccaro hotel. Here, one cooks in a traditional wood-fired oven under the direction of the chef himself.
The vicinity and cultural activities
During your long walks over the property of this country estate, you’ll come across a small chapel, a fruit and vegetable garden, and a former quarry. The grottos of Poligano and the harbor of Monopoli in the near vicinity are also especially interesting. The hotel Masseria Torre Coccaro offers excursions there on a private yacht.
The sea is located at a distance of 2km from the hotel. A shuttle bus is available to bring the guests to the beach, located at a distance of 4km from the hotel.
