The hotel is located in the ski resort of Val Thorens in the French Alps and within the 3 Valleys ski area; at an elevation of 2,300 meters, the resort is considered the highest ski resort in Europe. The hotel is situated right on the slopes and has its own ski shop for guests, where guests can also drop off their personal ski gear to dry after a day on the slopes
