The Hidden Hotel by Elegancia more than lives up to its name: it has a tucked-away location down a small side street just a short stroll north of the Arc de Triomphe. When you arrive along Rue de l’Arc de Triomphe, you’ll spot the hotel immediately by its wooden façade which gives you an inkling of what to expect from this original design hotel inside. The exceptional design concept here relies completely on natural materials and combines old-fashioned craftwork with a cutting edge interior design.
City hotel: Central location and modern concept
The Hidden Hotel provides absolutely everything you could want for a city break to Paris. Probably the most important of all is its excellent location. You can walk to the Champs-Élysées in less than 5 minutes. The services provided by the hotel are perfect for the modern traveler – as soon as you check in you’ll receive the access code for the free wireless internet. Meanwhile, a very friendly team of staff see to all your needs and questions about your stay in Paris, including the shuttle service to the airport.
Design: Natural, full of character and modern
This small hotel stands out for its completely unique design featuring only good-quality natural materials. The walls are covered with wood and even metal sheeting. The furniture is made of oiled hardwood. The bathrooms have been finished in stone, slate and marble. Guests sit on leather-upholstered chairs and sleep on coir mattresses complete with bright-white pure cotton bed linen. A décor that stimulates all your senses and has a high-quality finish, right down to the smallest of details!
Boutique: Intimate & functional
The Hidden Hotel has a total of 23 rooms spread over 6 floors for guests to choose from. The rooms are between 12 and 34sqm and offer state-of-the-art living, each with a large flat-screen TV, LED lamps, wireless internet and brand-name toiletries. Another highlight is the wonderfully comfortable beds by Coco Mat.
Eating & drinking: Excellent breakfast
A day at the Hidden Hotel begins with a really big breakfast, pretty uncharacteristic for France. As well as you what you might normally expect from a French breakfast like perfectly brewed coffee, croissants and baguettes, you’ll also find things like salmon, avocado and dates at the buffet. The hotel does not have its own restaurant but there are plenty of dining options all within walking distance. Nevertheless it has its own smoking lounge where one can enjoy a Cuban cigar together with the most exquisite Rums or Whiskies surrounded by a leather, steel and wood ambiance.
Location: Quiet and secluded in the heart of the city center
The Rue de l’Arc de Triomphe, where the hotel is located, is a small street close to the monument of the same name (about 300m) and with little traffic. Also just a short stroll away is the Metro and RER (overground train).
