What makes this hotel unique in Croatia is the contrast between the wildly romantic coastal landscape and the avant-garde living culture. For more than 100 years, a seaside hotel has been operating on the waterfront property with a green mountain ridge behind it. In 2011, the old building gave way to a new, award-winning building with maximum windows facing the water.

Beach hotel: From the terrace into the sea

The hotel is located directly on the water, in some cases almost over the water. On each of the two lower floors there is a large furnished terrace that runs the length of the hotel. From the lowest level you can go directly into the water and swim. There is a separate bathing area for this purpose.

Spa hotel: sauna, pool & beauty treatments

The hotel's Amabilis Spa, with the same elegant design as the other areas, features a sauna, steam room, and indoor pool. In four treatment rooms, a team of professional wellness therapists offers a wide range of massages, facials, and body treatments. For a romantic spa experience for two, there is a private spa suite with a circular bed and whirlpool.

The interior, with its preference for white leather furniture, curved shapes and nods to the Art Deco style, is something for discerning design lovers. Even in the lobby, the combination of snow-white round sofas on high-quality wood parquet strikes the perfect balance between coolness and elegant comfort. The same goes for the rooms, which are available in six categories, from the luxurious Standard Room to the Presidential Suite. Renaissance-style leather furnishings meet large, comfortable beds and original designer home accessories. The main restaurant, Amabilis, offers a varied breakfast buffet, which can be enjoyed through the large panoramic windows overlooking the sea. For lunch and dinner, guests can choose from the buffet or order from the menu. In the restaurant Chandeliers, you can sit under the chandeliers of the same name in a snow-white Art Deco ambience and enjoy Croatian and Mediterranean specialties as well as international classics. Here, too, you will enjoy a magnificent view of the sea and the island of Krk. For an aperitif or refreshment, head to the chic Lobby Bar or the Nautilus Bar with its panoramic terrace. Here you can also get a snack, a salad or an ice cream.

Leisure & sport: Fitness with a sea view

If you have planned a fitness program for your vacation, there is a modern fitness room with a variety of cardio and strength machines as well as free weights. A personal trainer is available to assist guests. Again, you can enjoy the magnificent views over the water.

Location: Between the sea and the town center

Hotel Amabilis is located in the popular tourist resort of Selce in the Kvarner Bay, opposite the island of Krk. The center of Selce can be reached on foot in less than 10 minutes. In the south Selce borders the coastal town of Crikvenica with a beautiful sandy beach (2 km).
