The Château Moulin de le Comte is situated in the far north of the country, a few kilometers from the Opal Coast. Guests who have an interest in historic architecture will love the masterfully restored facade, not to mention the château garden with its clipped lawns and mature trees. Inside, the hotel has a simple yet elegant design in a French country house style that combines historic with modern elements. This small hotel is run by the owner Francis together with help from his son Cedric. The two make a great team and strive to make sure that all of their guests have a pleasant stay.

It only takes a quick glance when you arrive at the B&B Château de Moulin le Comte to feel convinced that you’ve picked a really authentic place. The château dates back to the mid 19th century. It is a stately home with two floors and a converted attic, that exudes simple, homely elegance. Instead of pomp and grandeur, you’ll discover a love for the traditions of a small aristocratic family: Large French doors open into high-ceiling rooms with wooden floors, chandeliers in all shapes and sizes, period furniture and patterned wallpaper to create a nostalgic atmosphere. The rooms themselves are also simple and traditional, each in a different, bold color. Added to this is a mix of furniture styles – some items antique, some just family heirlooms. Each room also has a modern equipped bathroom.
