The Château de la Resle is a typical French country chateau. The building situated on the 6-hectare estate was originally built between the 17th and 19th centuries. The owners Johan Bouman and Pieter Franssens have devoted themselves to the restoration project with absolute dedication. The characteristic historical elements such as fireplaces, exposed wooden beams, and the stairs have been expertly preserved. Every morning when the weather is fine a breakfast buffet with regional products is served in the in the château’s garden. For lunch and dinner "table d’hôtes" cuisine is served in the hotel’s poolside restaurant several days a week. The owners have years of experience in the food industry and want to share their passion for good food with their guests. They produce their own Chablis wine and sell hand-picked products from local producers. In the surrounds of the hotel, there are also some additional restaurants. The hosts can provide tips and arrange a taxi on request.
