Historic hotel
The village of Gargonza Castle dates back to the 13th century and was an agricultural community for three centuries until the castle was finally converted into a farm at the end of the 18th century; in 1970 Roberto Guicciardini Corsi Salviati began the restoration of the castle and village, seeking to preserve the original architecture; today the hotel is run with love and hospitality by his heirs, the Corsi Salviati family; a further restoration took place in 2021 and was completed in August 2023
