Once the top location for giant trashy parties, the town has transformed into an exclusive spa destination. Guests to this sunny coastal town, also known as America’s Venice due to its extensive network of canals, will find a particularly beautiful home base at the Pillars Hotel. This small boutique hotel sets itself apart from the other local spots with its snow-white façade in the British colonial style. It is situated directly by the Intracoastal Waterway, which several suites and the hotel restaurant overlook.

A total of 18 double rooms and suites are housed at the Pillars Hotel. The small size ensures a particularly relaxed and cozy stay. The small grounds are almost like a private villa; friendly personnel know the guests by name. And the garden terrace on the banks of the canal exudes a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere at all times.

Though the hotel seems like a private villa, guests also enjoy all the comforts of a modern urban hotel. Spaciously arranged suites give off an incomparable air of luxury. In the interior spaces of the hotel, charming British colonial style is evident as well. Each suite features a separate living room with bar including integrated dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso machine as well as a bench niche on the long exterior balcony.

Each morning an exquisite breakfast is served under palm trees by the canal, as long as the weather allows. Same goes for the excellent dinner menu prepared by chef Hammi, featuring international specialties with a Moroccan flair. Absolutely worth a visit!
Athletics & Leisure: Pool & Beach
In the garden by the canal there is a small, perfectly peaceful pool with lounge chairs and sun umbrellas. As an alternative, the broad sand beach of Fort Lauderdale is a short walk away (about 200 yards).

The Pillars is situated about 200 yards away from Fort Lauderdale Beach, right on the Intracoastal Waterway. The garden with its idyllic restaurant terrace borders the canal directly. Right next to the grounds is a stop for the water taxi.
