The heated outdoor swimming pool is open all year round, and even in cold weather the pleasant 32 degrees water temperature is inviting. In the salt cave calming birds chirp in the background and dim lighting aids relaxation. Special features of the hotel include treatments such as a traditional hay bath in a wooden barrel, wine bath on hot stones or a harmonising hot-stone massage by candlelight.

A highlight is the Tower Suite in the historic tower which dates back to the 13th century: hardwood floors, a large four-poster bed and a living room with corner sofa complete the cosy atmosphere. Here, as in the other suites, you can enjoy fantastic views across the Eisack Valley and the Schlern. Special arrangements such as breakfast in the room, a candlelit dinner in the rose garden or a carriage ride around the surrounding area enrich the romantic mood.
Historic Hotel: Stylish ambience inside a former castle dating back to the 13th century
The Romantik Hotel Turm in South Tyrol is situated in an old castle which dates back to the 13th century. Their refined collection of art features originals by Joseph Beuys, Paul Klee and Giorgio de Chirico, which enrich the tasteful decor. The historic buildings were restored using natural materials such as wood and stone. The hotel’s 40 elegant and cosy rooms are generously distributed across 3 houses and several towers. These old towers, in which the court and the prison were once housed, are now protected and provide a unique ambience. During the refurbishment of the hotel, much care was taken to ensure its historic charm was maintained, guests will notice the various ancient items that have been preserved, such as valuable paintings and old chests.
Food & Drink: Award-winning gourmet cuisine and an outstanding range of wines
The buffet breakfast is served in the dining room, in your room or on one of the terraces with a wonderful view over the village; a special experience, especially at sunrise. At noon and in the evening the award-winning restaurant of the Romantik Hotel Turm serves fresh, regional cuisine accompanied by a selection of fine South Tyrolean wines. The gourmet restaurant has been awarded with 14 Gault-Millau points and is run personally by the landlord Stefan Pramstrahler. Regularly, the michelin-starred chef allows visitors to take a look over his shoulder by holding cooking courses. At the bar or in the atmospheric cellar guests can taste wines produced in part by the hotel’s own winery. On request, it’s possible to take part in a grape harvest.
